Who’s got your back?
You're a leader, trying to lead your team through nonstop organizational change, but you don't have a leadership structure that supports you. Maybe you're new to the role and figuring it out as you go. Maybe you've been doing this for years, and you wish someone would advocate as hard for you as you do for your team.
These aren’t personal failings. These are structural problems, and you don’t have to navigate them alone.
I'm Jennifer Spencer, a leadership coach and organizational development consultant. I work with leaders at every stage, from new managers figuring out their style to seasoned directors who are great at what they do but don't have anyone genuinely invested in their growth. And I work with organizations to fix the structures that leave those leaders unsupported.
For leaders at every stage, looking for practical support shaped around them.
Your mid-level leaders are the backbone of your organization. I help companies invest in the people they can’t afford to lose.
Focused, practical sessions for teams working through leadership challenges, organizational change, or the human side of AI integration.
Why me?
I’ve been where you are. I started in nonprofit and startup communications, then worked in fintech and healthcare UX leadership for more than 10 years at companies like Fidelity Investments and Relias. Along the way, I learned how to be a great leader from great leaders.
UX taught me something I use every day: when something isn't working for people, get curious about why before you try to fix it. I bring that same empathy and curiosity to leadership and organizational change.
When I was ready for more growth, I didn’t have a leadership support system in place that was invested in me. I didn’t report to someone in my field, or I didn’t report to someone who had time for consistent 1:1s, or I had multiple bosses in a year. I had to invest in myself with a coach who has stayed with me from working on my executive presence all the way to becoming a coach myself.
Working With Me
My job isn’t to tell you what to do. It’s to ask the questions that help you figure out what you actually want and what’s getting in the way. You’ll have space to be honest about what’s working and what isn’t. We’ll name what’s really going on. And you’ll leave each session with more clarity than you came in with.
If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, let’s talk.
